For most of the birds, you can collect samples when the bird is about three weeks old.
Before creating order, you need to login. If you dont have a login, please register. Once logged on, please navigate to Order Now page and follow the steps below:
Select test
Click on DNA/PBFD or APV buttons as required. If you need more than one test, click any button and you can add more tests in the next screen
Select all required tests
Select all required required and then add sample details. Also you can order sample collection kits and printed certificates (If your test includes DNA) If you need PBFD / APV for few birds only and all the remaining for DNA. please use Manual Order Form and send to us
Add sample details
Enter Ring No (or bird name) and start typing species name. If found, select it from the list.
If you cannot find the species name in the list, please type full species name.
Click on Add. Repeat same process for all the species. Click on Submit.
Yes. You can add more samples to or delete samples from current order until payment is complete.
Add more samples
To add more samples, Click on Add More button for order under PENDING ORDERS TO POST. Start adding ring no and species name and click on Add. Click on Submit button when finished. You can delete any sample from this screen (as shown in the image). Once deleted desired samples, click on Submit button.

You can delete the samples while you are on Modify screen as shown here. or By clicking on the recycle icon after clicking order number Click on Submit. (image shown in next section)
Yes. You can modify ring number or species name until you post it. If you need to make changes after you post it, please contact our office.
Corrections
To make changes to ring no or species name, click on the “order number” icon, click on the edit icon for ring number to modify.. Once changes are made, click on the “Save” button.
Please order sample kits when placing your order or you can purchase self-sealing bags from your local supermarket or stationary shops. If you find any difficulty, please contact our office and we will send you.
Prepare the samples and post
Please write Ring No, Species Name, Order Number and your name on the label as shown in image. If you have not placed order online, ignore the order no If you need sample kits, please contact us with your postal address and number of samples you are willing to post and we will send the bags to you.
Click on Post button
Click on the button Post as shown in image. Enter details of postage/ courier.
You can pay for the order as soon as you create order or after posted but we should receive the payment before we start processing. Using credit/debit card: Click on pay now button and enter card details Pay by Phone: Please call us on + 1 (734) 322 5111 and we will take payment over phone. Pay by cheque: Please make cheque payable to ‘AVIGENICS INC’ and send it along with samples. Pay by Bank Transfer: Use your internet banking to pay. Once we receive the samples (we will send you an email once we receive the samples), it will normally take 5-7 working days for the results to arrive. PBFD and APV results will be available a bit later - these tests need extra time - usually another day or two.

If your order status is showing as complete and you did not receive certificate in email, your e-mail system might have blocked it. Please check your Spam/Junk mail and if you still can't find it, please let us know and we will send them in another method.
Yes. You can select completed orders and click on ring id to see certificate Click on save button. You can also print this certificate
